Come, sample the pleasures of Greece.

Visit ancient mythology and sun-bleached ruins, white-washed houses, cobbled streets and sapphire blue waters, then don‘t miss the journey to the cradle of civilization. Join us as we travel through wonderful Alpine scenery in Germany and Austria and cruise from Venice across the Adriatic Sea to Greece. You will be delighted by this colorful country and its friendly people.

Tastes of Germany await the start of your tour as we head through Austria on our way to Venice, Italy. Experience the ‘Sound of Music’ tour of Salzburg, ride the Funicular, explore the old war tunnels, ride a romantic gondola under the Bridge of Sighs and experience the gorgeous scenery as you drive your motorhome from place to place. We ferry over to Greece and enjoy both the mainland sights, such as Delphi, Mount Parnassus, Corinth and Athens; plus the island of Mykonos. Olympia and all the ancient world history that carries forward today with the modern Olympic Games is truly magical. After we ferry back to Italy, we visit Verona and the famous Romeo and Juliet balcony. A scenic drive through the Alps and along Lake Garda finish up our Ancient World adventure.

This is the way to see these beautiful scenic countries – in your own motorhome. They are small enough to share the country roads with the locals and large enough to keep you comfortable. We are able to shop with the townspeople and meander the cobblestone streets, as well as visit the major attractions you have heard about for years. This is the best of both worlds, as we experience guided tours in some of the more popular cities, and since we are a small group (12 rigs maximum), we can mingle and mix at some local hangouts. This is a tour you will never forget.

Note: Airfare is not included. This option allows you more freedom of movement and a chance to use your frequent flyer miles.

  • We would never experience such a variety of activities, visit so many places or meet so many interesting people if we traveled on our own. A big plus. Safety in numbers! Allan & Pat

  • When we signed up for the tour all we knew was that we were going to Alaska. Adventure Caravans made this trip, for us, a once in a lifetime experience. Everything was taken care of, all we had to do was leave in the morning and be in the next campground by a certain time. We enjoyed every facet of the tour from the log meetings and socials to the tours and our free time. Kudos to the wagon masters and to Penny and Tom. The icing on the cake are the wonderful friends that we made and know we will keep in touch. The camaraderie among the whole group was amazing but the trip left us with memories for a lifetime. Thank you Adventure Caravans.
