Springtime in Texas is very special – beautiful weather and spectacular wildflowers in bloom.

Our dance begins in the Houston/Galveston area centrally located between these two very different cities. There is just so much to see and do, a week in this area hardly seems long enough.

We tour the world-famous NASA Space Center to see where Astronauts are trained and US Space Missions are controlled. You can land a Space Shuttle, see a real Gemini Rocket and even touch a moon rock. We will visit the world-famous Moody Gardens to be astonished at their Aquarium and Rainforest Pyramids. Visit Galveston’s Historic Homes, the beautiful Strand and Pier 21. Tour the Battleship Texas and stroll along the Kemah Boardwalk. In Houston, join our guided tour of Reliant Stadium, Minute Maid Park, The Galleria and River Oaks. Prepare to be amazed at the Museum of Natural Sciences and the Butterfly Center and Planetarium.

We’ll two-step down the coast to Corpus Christi and visit the famous King Ranch sprawling across 825,000 acres in an area larger than the state of Rhode Island. While there you enjoy a Barbecue at a Cowboy Camphouse just like the cowboys did years ago.

San Antonio WOW! What a city at Fiesta time! We have reserved Riverside seats to watch the illuminated floats as they ply their way along the River. We also experience the “Coronation of the Queen” at the Majestic theatre. At the Battle of the Flowers Parade, we’ll have reserved seats to cap off an eventful week. We visit the historic Alamo and charter a boat to cruise through the beautiful Riverwalk area.

In Austin, we enjoy a great sightseeing cruise on Lady Bird Lake and see the beautiful flora, fauna and dramatic landscapes inspired by Lady Bird Johnson. We experience a bat watching cruise surely to amaze you.

From Fredericksburg, we tour the Lyndon Johnson Ranch and Texas Whitehouse before sliding south to the border town of Del Rio. We’ll stop in Langtree, home of the legendary Judge Roy Bean, ‘The Law West of the Pecos’ and then on to Big Bend National Park. Experience the majesty firsthand of the largest protected area of Chihuahuan Desert topography and ecology in the United States.

Beautiful Grapevine is located midway between Fort Worth and Dallas. We’ll take you on three days of exciting luxury Motorcoach tours covering all the exciting activities within a 50 mile radius. We’ll visit the Dallas Cowboys $1.2 Billion Dollar football stadium, tour the NASCAR Texas Motor Speedway, and take the JFK Assassination Trail Heritage Tour. We tour ‘Horse Country USA’, Southfork Ranch and have breakfast at the Ewing Mansion, where the hit TV show Dallas was filmed. In Fort Worth, we visit the Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame, See the famous Fort Worth Longhorn cattle drive and see a live Championship Rodeo. This is one of the best tours we have ever put together. It’s BIG, it’s AWESOME, it’s TEXAS and we’ll take you there.

  • Regarding our 31-day Canadian Maritimes caravan Cindy and I would like to express how much we enjoyed the caravan with Rick & Sharon Gilbert and John & Sally Mincks. Both couples were outstanding and we would love to book any caravan they are involved with. We booked for the 2018 Big Sky caravan and hope you can assign one or both off them to that trip. We met many wonderful people and hope we have made some new life long friendships. We hope to meet up with Rick and Sharon at the Tampa RV show in January. The tour guides for our various bus tours were top notch, all added much information and interesting stories to the tour. Please give a big thanks to Roger in Quebec City, Roddie in PEI, Carolyn in Halifax and Paul on The Cabot Trail.
    Iggy & Cindy Konrad
  • “It was wonderful!  We have been to Alaska on a cruise before and thought we saw so much at that time. This tour provided so much more and we discovered there was more to see! Awesome trip, awesome Wagonmasters, and awesome Tailgunners!”

Waltz Across Texas

  • “Everything was so well organized.”
    Carl & Sara Austin
  • I must say it was way beyond my wildest dreams and thoughts of South Africa. First of all, I have to say that the people were exceptional. They were beautiful not only in looks, their beauty was in everything they did for us. They were so happy to talk with us and question us about America. They all would love to come over here to visit but said they knew they would never be able to afford the trip. I was overwhelmed with the young children and their attitude toward us. They laughed, smiled and waved to us all along the highways on their way to school. I have to admit, I was so proud of how they were dressed and their pride. Our American children have so much and appreciate it so little.
    Carole & Len Adams
  • “Fantastic experience to travel in RV and have guide and arrangements made. The freedom to deviate from the schedule gave freedom to do what you want. Logistics were excellent. Wagonmasters were very experienced to meet all needs of the caravan. Wonderful team.”
    Doug & Kay Marsh
  • “So much planned, down to the last detail. Rallymasters, tour guide and bus driver were all super!”
    Betty Ogden
  • “We had a ball! Our teams were great, we love all four of them!”
    Phil & Donna Laugen
  • “We saw and did things we never would have done on our own. Thanks to AVC for the excellent plans and the execution of them by our Wagonmasters.”
    Eddie & Mary Catherine Sligh
