Ah, the lure of the Yucatan Peninsula!

From Pharr, Texas we travel along Mexico’s Emerald Coast to visit the awesome Mayan Ruins of Uxmal and Chichén Itzá in the Yucatan. Enjoy the warm beaches of the Caribbean, along with the cities of Cancun and Riviera Maya. A bus tour to Belize takes us to the Lamanai ruins and then a jungle riverboat ride.

Back in Mexico, head west, to explore Palenque, San Cristobal, Tehuantepec and Oaxaca, and the archeological site of Monte Albán, before turning north to Puebla and Mexico City.

Near Mexico City we enjoy two days of professionally guided bus tours, with fascinating sights and sounds. Visits to the Colonial Towns of Puebla, San Miguel, Guanajuato and Zacatecas are part of our caravan.

Some unique highlights include: The country of Belize, the city of San Cristobal and surrounding mountain villages, a bus tour of the capital city of Guanajuato. Don’t miss these wonderful opportunities!

We return to the USA by way of Colonial Mexico so we can enjoy this great part the country as well. See twice as much of Mexico for about the same mileage and cost with no backtracking.

Join us for an adventure of a lifetime!

Please Note: This is an adventure tour and includes some of the World’s most beautiful areas. We use the best available facilities, but some locations have no hook-ups. At times we will be parked in an open field or an area with no hook-ups or useable electricity. Travelers should not expect US-Standard amenities on this trip. However, this is part of what makes this region of Mexico unique and appealing to the adventurous Rver.

  • '...knowing that we had a Tailgunner behind us really put us at ease... we never broke down, or even got lost, we knew someone was looking out for us.'
    Bill & Shelly
  • “We like the combination of enroute stops, free days to explore and planned AVC tours/activities. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole tour.”
    Winston & Linda Norris
  • I must say it was way beyond my wildest dreams and thoughts of South Africa. First of all, I have to say that the people were exceptional. They were beautiful not only in looks, their beauty was in everything they did for us. They were so happy to talk with us and question us about America. They all would love to come over here to visit but said they knew they would never be able to afford the trip. I was overwhelmed with the young children and their attitude toward us. They laughed, smiled and waved to us all along the highways on their way to school. I have to admit, I was so proud of how they were dressed and their pride. Our American children have so much and appreciate it so little.

  • “Bert and Shari truly lead adventurous caravans. We appreciate their flexibility and good humor.” “The new friends who made this entire journey with us and all the people we talked with along the way are treasures.” “We did and saw so much in the time we had and there is so much more that we were made aware of. It was everything I had hoped and more.”
    Ron & Carol Conkey

  • Thank you so much for sending me your 20th anniversary DVD of my Adventure Caravans' New York City 10 Day Rally. I really enjoyed this trip so much and meeting all the people on the trip. I enjoyed watching this video and it brought back so many wonderful memories.  I am really looking forward to taking another trip with Adventure Caravans! Would you please tell your staff what a pleasure it was meeting them and what a wonderful job they did on this trip and hopefully I will get to tour with them again soon. Thanks again for everything.
