An Adventure For Your Senses

This 16 day Essential tour is for those who may not have as much time to spend exploring South Africa on our longer and more comprehensive Deluxe Adventure. We rendezvous and end in Johannesburg, which has many convenient flights from both Europe and the United States/Canada.

Upon landing we hit the ground running – pick up our motorhomes on Day 2, fill them with supplies at the local grocery and head directly into the wonderful land of South Africa. You will experience the culture, excitement, drama and adventure at every turn. Negotiate roads with some of the local wildlife, share meals and cultural experience with the local people and have memories that will last a lifetime.

One of the highlights of the tour is the 2 night stay at the Private Game Reserve. You are pampered and treated as royalty while viewing all the wildlife and nature experiences offered on this elite reserve. Game Drives and special dinners, learning opportunities and photo moments beyond compare.

Your registration includes a fully equipped motorhome with Right Hand Drive, 4-Berth, 20 Foot, Diesel RV. Size is perfect for negotiating left hand roads and parking – ask us for floor plans and details. Amenities include: sheets, pillowcases, towels, service for 4 persons, plates, pots, pans and utensils. Full insurance with zero deductible is also included.

Tour Route

OPTIONAL TOUR: FOUR DAYS IN VICTORIA FALLS & SIX DAYS IN CAPE TOWN

…AN AMAZING CURTAIN OF FALLING WATER FROM THE ZAMBEZI RIVER MAKE THIS — the largest waterfall in the world! Awe-inspiring vistas and the tremendous, billowing mist created from this natural force is incredible. Located in southern Africa at the border of Zambia and Zimbabwe this beautiful site was named in honor of Queen Victoria. However, the falls are still locally known at Mosi-oa-Tunya – ‘the smoke that thunders’ because of the enormous mist which sprays 1300 feet into the air. The neighboring national park in Zimbabwe is locally known as Victoria Falls, which could become confusing for visitors to the area.

Officially recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Victoria Falls is significant for its geological and geomorphological features. The Zambezi flows over Basalt Slabs for many miles approaching the falls – where a once small crevice has been cut by the river into this enormous display. Flowing through a series of eight spectacular basalt gorges – this area is rich with rare species and wonderful plants. Filled with interesting land formations and outstanding beauty it’s no wonder why this is such a popular attraction.

  • “A real rich experience, many excellent and varied opportunities. We had a lot of fun with wonderful people!”
    Steve & Jenny Altman
  • “There wasn’t a thing or subject they [the Wagonmasters] wouldn’t bend over backwards to find out, get, or inform us about, and all with a cheerful and professional manner, no matter how tired.” “The thing we liked best on this tour was the variety and frequency of extra curricular activities, such as cultural tours, eating out, socials, games.” “We were led through and shown some of the most spectacular scenery we have ever seen.”
    Tom & Charlu Choate
  • “Bert and Shari truly lead adventurous caravans. We appreciate their flexibility and good humor.” “The new friends who made this entire journey with us and all the people we talked with along the way are treasures.” “We did and saw so much in the time we had and there is so much more that we were made aware of. It was everything I had hoped and more.”
    Ron & Carol Conkey
  • “We enjoyed looking at the photos. I agree regarding the description of the Kaori Wildlife Sanctuary stop. In fact I would rate it as the high point of the entire Queensland / New Zealand tour. I am surprised to see other tours, even tours billed as "wildlife tours", that don't even make that stop.”
    Norm Day
  • “Everything was great!”
    Christal Werner

  • I can't wait to participate in another tour.  We are doing Christmas in the Smokies in November, but it can't possibly compare to the Grand Circle and the wonderful experiences we had there.
    Smitty & Louise Smith
  • “We had a great trip. We went to many places & shows that we wouldn’t have done on our own. The Wagonmasters & Tailgunners were great! They went beyond the call of duty with all the great food, campfires, socials, etc!”
    Steve & Pat Fuchs
  • I must say it was way beyond my wildest dreams and thoughts of South Africa. First of all, I have to say that the people were exceptional. They were beautiful not only in looks, their beauty was in everything they did for us. They were so happy to talk with us and question us about America. They all would love to come over here to visit but said they knew they would never be able to afford the trip. I was overwhelmed with the young children and their attitude toward us. They laughed, smiled and waved to us all along the highways on their way to school. I have to admit, I was so proud of how they were dressed and their pride. Our American children have so much and appreciate it so little.
