Welcome to The Big Easy!

We stay at a beautiful RV campground close to downtown in a scenic bayou setting. All sites are on asphalt pads, have water and 50 amp electric hook-ups. We also provide you with pre-paid honey wagon services. We start the rally with a get acquainted reception and traditional King Cake ceremony complete with the crowning of our rally king and queen, followed by a Festive welcome dinner.

Our two weeks will bring many highlights of New Orleans in addition to the Mardi Gras hoopla. We have experienced local tour guides with us on our outings. This includes the French Quarter, Mardi Gras World (master float builders), two Southern Historical plantations, the National World War II Museum, and a cruise down the Mississippi on the sternwheeler ‘Natchez’.

New Orleans is all about food. Dinner and dancing at Mulate’s, a scrumptious buffet Jazz brunch at the Court of Two Sisters, an exquisite lunch on the grounds of Oak Alley Plantation, great lunch on the Natchez, a remarkable buffet dinner at Harrah’s, and a unique lunch full of how to’s and local brews at the New Orleans School of Cooking where we have fun, food and Cajun/Creole folklore.

We enjoy both daytime and nighttime parades. We include reserved seating downtown for all parades. How many beads and special throws can you catch?

Take a stroll down Bourbon Street with our experienced guides for more of the Fat Tuesday action. You will be making a costume for this occasion with an instructor and the materials which add to the fun. Join us for Mardi Gras in New Orleans. It’s a trip full of festive memories.

  • Wonderful Staff (Conrad, Clary and Ron on the Polar Bear tour) - I had car trouble, I had a cabinet fall right out of the wall, and I fussed about my transmission on the RV. I had slide covers full of heavy wet snow --- all these problems solved with cheerful and competent efficiency. A widow on my first alone adventure ---totally looked after. Thanks to these fellows - I am delighted with my experience.
