Be a part of the “Most Exciting Two Minutes in Sports”…

as the world turns its attention to the twin spires of Churchill Downs for the high-stakes race, The Kentucky Derby.

Run annually on the first Saturday in May at Churchill Downs, the Derby attracts the best ‘three-year-olds’ in the world, each vying for a chance at immortality. Celebrate the first rites of spring and experience the reverent silence as the first strains of ‘My Old Kentucky Home’ play when the horses leave the paddock. Savor this experience, be a part of history and see your favorite horse win this year’s running of the ‘Great American Horse Race’.

The main reason for attending the Kentucky Derby is to be part of this Spectacular event. It can be difficult for the average person to obtain tickets and it takes years of loyal attendance for groups to acquire good seating for the Kentucky Derby. Adventure Caravans has been going to the Derby for years and our loyal attendance allows you to enjoy upgraded Box Seating that includes convenient access to betting windows, food vendors and lounges. Adventure Caravans provides you a Reserved Box Seat with elbow room and seat backs where you can experience all the tastes, sounds and smells unique to the Derby. You will probably attend the Kentucky Derby only once in your lifetime and we want you to get the greatest experience and best seats possible. You may pay a few dollars more, but you know you are getting THE BEST Derby Package when traveling with us.

Kentucky Derby ~ Run for the Roses

  • First let me say that Barbara and I enjoyed the rally.  We would give it a solid 10+ points.  We look forward eagerly to our next adventure.  We would enthusiastically recommend Adventure Caravans to friends or strangers.  It was fun!

  • '...more than 15 years of retirement travel and this was our first real vacation!'
    Roger & Linda
  • “We like the combination of enroute stops, free days to explore and planned AVC tours/activities. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole tour.”
    Winston & Linda Norris
  • “The entire team did a very good job. They were so helpful and lots of fun to be with. They bent over backwards to accommodate us. It was a great rally. The Rallymasters were lots of fun and so efficient. We had a very good time.”
    Jim & Jan Dawes
  • “There wasn’t a thing or subject they [the Wagonmasters] wouldn’t bend over backwards to find out, get, or inform us about, and all with a cheerful and professional manner, no matter how tired.” “The thing we liked best on this tour was the variety and frequency of extra curricular activities, such as cultural tours, eating out, socials, games.” “We were led through and shown some of the most spectacular scenery we have ever seen.”
    Tom & Charlu Choate
  • Wonderful Staff (Conrad, Clary and Ron on the Polar Bear tour) - I had car trouble, I had a cabinet fall right out of the wall, and I fussed about my transmission on the RV. I had slide covers full of heavy wet snow --- all these problems solved with cheerful and competent efficiency. A widow on my first alone adventure ---totally looked after. Thanks to these fellows - I am delighted with my experience.
