This tour combines the best of the west coast of Mexico with the Baja for an unforgettable adventure south of the border. We help you navigate the paperwork to ensure a worry-free vacation. Enjoy the warmth of the winter sun as we explore what Mexico has to offer!

Along the way, we visit the only saltwater pearl farm in North America, explore towns with centuries of history to share, and enjoy the beauty of the land, the culture and the people of Mexico. Imagine camping and walking on beautiful beaches, attending interesting craftsmens’ demonstrations and sampling the local foods at a variety of different venues. And then, of course, are the shopping opportunities…our itinerary includes lots of activities for everyone’s interests.

North America] One of the highlights of this tour is the Copper Canyon. Leave your rigs and pets in the good hands of Adventure Caravans staff at Los Mochis. Travel through the Copper Canyon on the train for an eight night journey you will never forget. From Los Mochis to Creel, Bahuichivo to Divisidero, stay in great hotels with most meals provided as you explore the Copper Canyon. Learn about the local Tarahumara Indians, who have never assimilated themselves into the Mexican culture. The high point is a two night trip to the bottom of the canyon to Batopilas, a remote town few people visit. The road has been described as the “most spectacular in North America”.

The ferry to the Baja Peninsula is another adventure. Private staterooms await us for our overnight journey across the Sea of Cortez.

No Baja tour would be complete without a whale-watching excursion out of Guerrero Negro. The huge gray whales and their babies often come right up to the boats and let us touch them. It is a fascinating and memorable experience!

Crossing back into the US at the end of tour, we include a night in El Centro, CA with a brief return to Mexicali to finalize your paperwork the next morning. You will love the weather, the people and the culture of Mexico. Come with us and experience it!
