Christmas in the Smokies…

what could be more beautiful or festive during the month of November in the heart of the Great Smoky Mountains? From the incredible display of twinkling lights to the sounds and smells of the holiday, this Rally guarantees to take your breath away. What a great time of year to take advantage of southern hospitality, spectacular holiday shows and entertainment drenched in tradition. We experience the local color and timeless traditions of these Smoky Mountain communities by taking a guided tour, including Bush Beans General Store and Pepper Palace. We venture up into the Smoky Mountains to capture the magic of the Newfound Gap panorama with its spectacular views. Our guides will treat us to the special sites and share their knowledge of this mountain paradise.

Nestled in the valley of the Little Pigeon River’s West Prong and surrounded on three sides by the majestic Great Smoky Mountains, nature here is beautiful and bountiful. We will spend a day or two at the Winter Wonderland that is Dollywood during the holiday season. Millions of lights, special holiday shows and decorations beyond your imagination await us. Your Dollywood visit is not complete without dining at Aunt Granny’s Buffet during this holiday season, so we make sure you have all you can eat.

Settle in for amazing holiday shows as Adventure Caravans takes in all the top entertainment shows in town.

• Dixie Stampede Christmas Show: Live Nativity, Lights, Action, Elves, St. Nick, Horses, Traditional Christmas Music and a Fabulous Meal.

• Smoky Mountain Opry Christmas Spectacular: Live Musicians, Singers, Dancers, Sugar Plum Fairies all before your eyes with some spectacular special effects.

Ride to the top of the Ober Gatlinburg Aerial Tram and visit the Ole Smoky Mountain Moonshine Distillery & Tasting Bar on a guided tour. Have an exclusive private lunch on the Titanic’s 3rd Deck. We stay in Sevierville at one of the area’s top rated luxury campgrounds and conveniently located to all the show venues. This is a true mountain experience and we guarantee this Rally will leave you in the Holiday Spirit!

Campground: We stay in Sevierville, at the one of the area’s top rated luxury campgrounds and conveniently located to all the show venues.

Testimonials

  • “ We loved the trip, the people on it and the staff. We hated to see it end.”
    Bob & Jan Farber
  • Regarding our 31-day Canadian Maritimes caravan Cindy and I would like to express how much we enjoyed the caravan with Rick & Sharon Gilbert and John & Sally Mincks. Both couples were outstanding and we would love to book any caravan they are involved with. We booked for the 2018 Big Sky caravan and hope you can assign one or both off them to that trip. We met many wonderful people and hope we have made some new life long friendships. We hope to meet up with Rick and Sharon at the Tampa RV show in January. The tour guides for our various bus tours were top notch, all added much information and interesting stories to the tour. Please give a big thanks to Roger in Quebec City, Roddie in PEI, Carolyn in Halifax and Paul on The Cabot Trail.
    Iggy & Cindy Konrad
  • “This trip was absolutely amazing and wonderful! A new adventure every day, we loved every minute of it.”
    Pete & Fawn Olvera
  • “Well organized; great tours; free time—very good schedule!”
    Jim & Gena Kinnamon
  • Wonderful Staff (Conrad, Clary and Ron on the Polar Bear tour) - I had car trouble, I had a cabinet fall right out of the wall, and I fussed about my transmission on the RV. I had slide covers full of heavy wet snow --- all these problems solved with cheerful and competent efficiency. A widow on my first alone adventure ---totally looked after. Thanks to these fellows - I am delighted with my experience.
Linda Ellis – Polar Bear Tour
  • I can't wait to participate in another tour.  We are doing Christmas in the Smokies in November, but it can't possibly compare to the Grand Circle and the wonderful experiences we had there.
    Smitty & Louise Smith

  • “It was fantastic. It exceeded all our expectations in every way. Wagonmasters & Tailgunners were the BEST!”
    Fred & Judy Smith
  • “Everything was great. Well done!! You know a lot about Chicago when you leave. Love the city.”
    Donna & Phillip Laugen
  • “Very well planned and everything was conducted professionally—very satisfied.”
    Jerry & Kay Shultz
  • “We enjoyed looking at the photos. I agree regarding the description of the Kaori Wildlife Sanctuary stop. In fact I would rate it as the high point of the entire Queensland / New Zealand tour. I am surprised to see other tours, even tours billed as "wildlife tours", that don't even make that stop.”
    Norm Day
  • “The trip was what we expected and more!”
    Joe & Margie Mirabella
